stop motion-art

For one art project we had to make a stop motion of our own.  My groups stop motion is called the Ugiry monster. It is based on a monster with no friends and ends up getting one in the end.  Then 10 years later he and his friend have pets and are still good friends.

PSA video-tech

For tech class we had to make a PSA (public service announcement) and so we were put into groups of three or four. I was put into a group of three and we had shot the movie in a few hours.  We tried to make the video on cyber bullying and we did it from the bullies perspective and we made it so the bully thinks he isn't hurting the victim.  

Dominance-raspberry

This picture shows dominance because the blue raspberry is being dominated by the raspberries.  This is dominance because the blue raspberry looks as if it is being intimidated and to me it symbolizes fear and loneliness.  I think that these berries can also represent s rule of thirds because the blue raspberry is almost right in the middle of the picture and it stands out more than any of the other berries.

This is a picture of a field and trees with red leaves.  I think that this picture shows domination because the trees to me pop out and are just visually interesting.  I think this impacts my experience of this picture because the trees and the grass are bright and colourful.  I also think that this is a powerful example of domination in action because the trees just stand out among any other feature of this picture.

Blends

Earlier this year I went to a printing place and learned how to blend pictures, make cards and more.  So when i got back to school i started to blend more pictures on photoshop because i found this really unique and I knew that I was going to be blending in class.  This was a good experience because I got to learn about printers and I got to see how hard it is to be in a printing business.  I also learned why paper is the best for writing.  This is an example of all the things I did but I am proud of blending because it is fun and a great learning experience.    

tech post-vuvox

For one of the assignments we had to do for tech we made a presentation on an artist and i chose to do mine on Marcel Duchamp. I decided to do my vuvox presentation on him because i reconized his name and i found his paintings unique and complex.  I also picked Duchamp because he had a unique artistic life.

logo comparison

I find that the dark earth logo is meant to be like this because it looks as if it creates some sort of scary emotion because of the font style.  This logo also seems like it represents death just because to me DARK EARTH seems related to something dying because it is called DARK EARTH.  This logo is frightening because the font style is sharp, pointy and some letters look as if they were unnatural because of the spikes.  To me this also means death and destruction.



 This logo is cheerful because it has many colors and it is in a swirl. To me that means safety and that this logo represents happiness.  I think that this logo could improve by adding text to it because we don't know what this logo actually means.  I find that the logo is very high in contrast and that is is very bright.  This logo can be used to symbolize friendship where as the other logo represents death and destruction.
